Many of you ladies read my post and wanted to know more about the Passover and Easter holidays. I thought I could probably write about them here since its been awhile that I've wrote on here. Its much easier then addressing everyone individually . I also realize that I can keep track of it for the future like some of my other snippets. Here I copied my answer to the question about Jesus being in the tomb 3 days and 3 nights. It didn't add up from Friday evening to Sunday morning. Smart boy! He can count! 😁 He should get an A+ on his studies this week! This was my answer to the question and a follow up answer to those of you that wanted to know more about the truths about Easter bunny, baskets, and dying eggs. Here we go on this adventure!
He was in the grave 3 nights and 3 days, as Jonah was in the belly of the whale. It also says he died in the middle of the week. To get your 3 days and nights you start with it being a high Sabbath that year. He had to be crucified before then. Wednesday night is actually the start of a new day and is considered Thursday and day 1. Thursday evening-Friday morning/day is day 2, Friday evening-Satuday morning /day is day #3. Christ arose right at dusk. He was out of the grave before dawn on Sunday. The women went to the grave early in the morning before dawn and he was gone. He had already been risen. So, he rose before the 4th day.
Now, if your wondering why there is good Friday and Easter Sunday this is where some might not want to acknowledge the truths of the worship of Mithera brought into the early church.mithera was a bare breasted fertility goddess. This is where we get the egg laying rabbit, Easter baskets, dyeing eggs. These were all pegan rituals done by worshipping the sun and moon god. Worshipping Nimrod all the way back to Noah's great grand son. Nimrod and Tammuz, Ham's decendants. Simeranus Nimrods wife is the fertility goddess of worship. Her husband Nimrod was killed by a boar on his 40th birthday. He was the great hunter. So, she made it a national holiday to weep for him 40 days and 40 nights
These were the descendants of the tower of Babel. You would also note that they were the builders of cities like Sodom and Gmorrah. You will see several worships throughout the Bible. Like Dagon worship in Samson and Delilah. Its all the same gods but when God scattered their languages they came up with different names for the worship of simeranius. She has been called ester, Isis, Easter, Diana, among a few. Just remember she is the sun goddess and her husband was the moon god. Easter has been celebrated long before Christs birth. I could go into more detail about the Easter bunny, eggs and baskets but I think I got carried away already by this thread . This subject is one of my passions to teach. Alot of people are unaware of the origins of the holiday and choose to carry on with it the way they always have. However, Easter and Passover are 2 different holidays. Passover God commands us to do and tells us to do it forever.he says that more then 6 times. We no longer need to sacrifice for 2reasons. 1) because the temple has been destroyed the second time, and that's why Jews don't sacrifice.2) because if you are a follower of Christ you realize that he's the sacrifice. God tells us to work out our own salvation. I think its meant for us to study and learn things on our own. Jesus even Says... He is here to fulfill the law not destroy it. God told us to celebrate The Passover every year. It was to be passed down from generation to generation. FOREVER. Not just by Jews but by HIS people. Jews weren't a nation yet. He even says he gives you an angel to guide you.Ex. 23:20
Forever is in Ex.12:14,17,& 24. Ex.31:17, and Leviticus 23:14, 31, & 41.
If you want to know the truth about the bunny, egg dying, and the basket ill tell you but it can be pretty gruesome.
