This is a genius moment for me. I think everyone should have baking soda in the house. There are so many reasons for using it besides cleaning.
I use it just about everyday. If you have acid reflux you don't want to go to bed with acid burning your esophagus. It can do major damage. I learned years ago that it is great for heart burn. It is better then Tums or antiacids. It also works much faster and doesn't have all the dyes that are harder on your stomach. I found I didn't even have to use a teaspoon or a whole cup of water either. I just got use to it being a quick easy fix that I wanted to get it done and over with just as quick. So, I use about 1/2 a teaspoon in about two shots of water and keep stirring and adding a little water till its all gone. I laugh when people say to me they couldn't do that... My answer is... Really? I'm sure you've drank some pretty horrible stuff in your lifetime. Possibly some medication, some antibiotic, how about a shot of alcohol? If at any point in your life you have been drunk I can assure you you've had worse!
When I found someone used it in the garden....well I just had to watch!
As a bug repellant... Genius! Ok, watch this for yourself. I will be adding this to my garden recipes for this year.
